In the context of replacement construction of building 14 of BAB 94 in Feldkirchen near Munich, the Noise Protection/Systems division of Hering Bau GmbH & Co. KG supported the contractor Strabag AG with noise protection measures on and along the bridge. In December 2015, 110m of noise protection and 200m² of facing were delivered, mounted and assembled within two weeks. This was carried out in parallel to the works of Strabag AG.
The noise protection system on the bridge consists of 58 steel stanchions of a height up to 4.00m with connection to existing walls. The stanchions are infilled with gradient-adjusted acrylic glass elements. Noise protection under the bridge on the walls of the abutment was achieved using a back-ventilated facing starting from BAB 94.
