Trucker WC for VILSA-BRUNNEN

Vandal-proof, sophisticated technology and modern design - these were the main requirements that the new trucker toilet facility for VILSA-BRUNNEN had to meet. HERING Sanikonzept GmbH was able to meet these requirements and supplied the company with a modern WC facility for the company's new truck waiting area.

VILSA-BRUNNEN stands for high-quality mineral water and soft drinks. The company is already in its fourth generation of family ownership and employs around 450 people. Around 500 million bottles of mineral water and soft drinks are bottled each year in a modern production facility. On hot days, this can be as many as 2.5 million bottles, most of which leave the site in environmentally friendly reusable systems.

At the company site in Bruchhausen, VILSA-BRUNNEN has created a new truck waiting area for more than 50 trucks in order to better buffer the volume on site and to automate handling in the logistics process of the trucks. This also includes a modern trucker toilet building by HERING Sanikonzept GmbH from Burbach Holzhausen. Specially tailored to the customer's requirements, the sanitary specialist supplies a tailor-made sanitary solution. "When selecting our partner, we attached great importance to sophisticated technology in the field of sanitary installations. In addition, we needed to be guaranteed vandalism-proof use by external parties. At the same time, the architecture and design had to fit in perfectly with our rural surroundings," reports Marco Peters, Facility Manager at VILSA-BRUNNEN. "In HERING Sanikonzept we have found a strong partner who has fulfilled all these wishes for us within a very short time. "

The sanitary facility was delivered to the company site in 3 large, prefabricated WC components. On site, they were assembled into a modern trucker toilet facility. In future, truck drivers will not only be able to go to the toilet here, but also take a break in the separate lounge. In addition to beverage dispensers, there are also two operating terminals for yard management, which are used to handle the entire logistics process.

The sanitary area consists of a urinal room and two WC rooms. One of these rooms was equipped with an additional squat toilet, which has proven worthwhile especially for international clientele. The trucker toilet is equipped with robust sanitary objects (toilet bowl, squat toilet, urinal, washstand column, hand basin and accessories) made of stainless steel. Planning and construction were carried out in accordance with workplace regulations. From the outside, it is not only the architecturally modern zinc monopitch roof that catches the eye - the timeless larch wood façade is also a real eye-catcher. With its design, the building blends in perfectly with its rural surroundings.
