The BAU trade fair in Munich was – with more than 190,000 visitors – this year once again the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems.
The panel event that focused on the subject of ‘New skills for a sustainable (and digital) construction working world’ saw Annette Hering giving a practical presentation that outlined the opportunities for and limits of reducing CO2 emissions at businesses – particularly with regard to digital solutions.
Appropriately for the presentation, Hering Architectural Concrete | HAC division showcased a charging station for electric vehicles that had been manufactured using recycled concrete along with material samples from the SUScon® research project – which is a CO2-reduced concrete – at the Dykerhoff and @izb_beton stand.
We’re looking forward to sharing more news about this exciting research topic in the coming months.
