Two railway slewing cranes erected the up to 46-tonne finished parts on site in three-shift operation and lifted them into the excavation pit in an extremely demanding parallel tandem process. The intermediate transport of the precast reinforced concrete frame from the transfer point in the Laurenburg railway station was completed with our work train locomotive on special low-loader wagons; rubble and new material was transported on our four-axle Rens flat-bed wagons.
Due to the numerous particularities of this constructions site, comprehensive logistical planning was required in the run-up period. We were able to successfully implement this because of our many years of project experience and our experienced crane operation team.
At this stage, we would like to say thank you to all of the parties involved, in particular our contractor Albert Fischer GmbH and his team for their confidence in our project execution.
