Noise protection means protection of the environment

High noise barriers

For the areas around roads, railway tracks and engineering structures, Hering employees manufacture and install standard noise barriers as well as those along high-speed railway tracks, on motorway bridges right through to special structures. Hering know-how is in great demand in every construction project. Whether it is on the high-speed ICE track from Nuremberg to Leipzig, along the A9 motorway (Lederhose intersection) or on bridges on the German Unity Transport Project 8 (Erfurt – Ilmenau) on which trains travel at a speed of 300 km/h: the noise protection team tackles all challenges from planning through to installation and is able to offer all services from one source thanks to the close working relationship with the Hering heavy machinery sector. The company's own fleet of cranes and two-way technology means that installation is possible even under very difficult conditions.

Whether a new construction or refurbishment – here too Hering offers the right system:

  • High noise barriers for roads and railways
  • Noise abatement and new construction
  • For all route parameters (also on motorway bridges, high-speed railway tracks and in residential areas)
  • Irritation walls, wind barriers, bird barriers
  • Special structures
  • Individual solutions
  • Combination of a wide range of different materials is possible
  • Planning through to installation – everything from one source
  • Highly absorbent

High noise barriers in particular present special challenges when it comes to the design. This is why Hering offers different materials to cater for different areas of use: whether you choose plexiglass or laminated safety glass for a transparent design or aluminium elements, concrete, gabions or wood as absorbent barriers, the combination of different materials offers a wide range of design possibilities.
