Reference project system roofs: System platform roofs type PALYO® in Berlin, Turmstrasse

BUG Verkehrsbau SE awarded the contract for this project along Berlin's Turmstraße to the HERING Systeme team in summer 2022. The principals were the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe. The contract included the planning, fabrication, delivery and final installation of four tailor-made canopies for the tram stops.

The installed roofing is a special design based on our ‘PALYO^®’ type roof, which was adapted to the look and geometry of the roofed elevator.

The canopies were successfully installed at the stops at Alt-Moabit, Kriminalgericht, Lübecker Straße and U-Turmstraße. The roofing extends across a total area of around 200 square metres. The project was completed in August 2023.
