Reference project platform roofs: Leverkusen-Opladen Station

A part of the large-scale project of a “new train station for Opladen” also included new platform roofing. During the project, Hering erected two roofs of the Zwiesel type.

The roof on the central platform was successfully completed in February 2017. It was a roof construction on two supports with glazing in the central roof area. It was 30.50 m long in total, about 10.30 m wide and had 5 support axes. The second roof on the external platform, with a length of 40m and width of 10.20m was erected in the second half of 2016.
